Before I start translating your text, I carry out a thorough text analysis – you can only translate a text stylistically correctly if you truly understand its tone, target audience and intended purpose. A marketing text reads differently to a contract, a scientific article is greatly different to a travel brochure or technical documentation.

Maximum productivity and compatibility thanks to CAT tools

I work with the translation memory system Trados Studio – a professional CAT tool (not to be confused with AI or machine translation), so I am able to work with all common file formats (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.). In addition, I use terminology databases in order to translate (company-specific) technical terms correctly and consistently.

You work with a different tool? No problem! I have professional experience with Trados, Across, MemoQ and XTM and am happy to learn more tools if you prefer a different software. Just let me know in your message and I’ll see what I can do for you.
